RAM Cellars 2023 Chardonnay
Our 2023 Chardonnay was aged ‘sur lie’ (on the lees) in stainless steel and is a beautiful straw-gold hue. At first sniff, tangelo, brioche, yellow apple, Honeydew melon, lemon curd, orange blossom and a hint of ocean breeze greet the senses. Green apple, lemon rind, pomelo pith, kumquat and a hint of soft, floral herbaceousness await your palate in glass. Pairs well with sushi, halibut, avocado, baked summer squash, caprese salad with vinaigrette, and other crisp, delicate dishes, as well as time with family and friends!
Crafted in a low intervention style with sustainably managed Chardonnay grapes from 20 year old vines from South Hill Vineyard from up on Underwood Mountain in the Columbia Gorge Sub-AVA of the Columbia Valley, Washington AVA and organically managed grapes from Canyon’s Gate Vineyard in Washington’s Columbia Valley AVA. 80 case produced.
