About Community Wine Bar

For years, winemakers Cristina Gonzales and Vivianne Kennedy have created safer spaces for each other within the wine industry—and have a lot of fun doing it. Now they’re expanding that feeling of collaboration, conversation, and safety to share with others through Community Wine Bar.

Community Wine Bar is a wine shop and bar, an event space, an accessible space, and whatever else we need it to be.

  • Winemaker + Founder + Maven of Mirth + Darling of Delight: RAM Cellars

Viv launched RAM Cellars in 2014. She’s been making wine in the Pacific Northwest since 2012. She came into the light as herself and came out as a transgender woman in 2018. In 2019, she launched our VIV Label in an effort to raise funds for other queer and transgender folks through a $3-$5 donation made per bottle sold. Viv loves making, sharing, and connecting over wine, as well as time with her spouse Aidan and their family pets. An avid fan of many creative pursuits, all things Star Trek, and time in the outdoors, if she’s not making wine or pouring or selling wine, you can find her singing karaoke, playing music poorly on her guitar, watching Star Trek with Aidan, or playing any number of TTRPGs with friends!
